The American Red Cross has been the leader in health
and safety training for more than 90 years. Our recently revised First
Aid/CPR/AED training program incorporates ECC Guidelines 2005 and helps you
to meet OSHA requirements.
Now, training your employees is easier than ever. The
Adams County Red Cross is happy to announce monthly open enrollment classes
to be held at the Adams County Emergency Management office located at 230
Greenamyer Lane in Gettysburg. With the combination of convenient location,
the flexibility to train one or more employees and reasonable cost there has
never been a better time to enroll your employees in one of the following
courses:
BABYSITTING CLASS
Sept. 29, 2007
The Adams County American Red Cross will be conducting
a babysitting class on September 29th, 2007 from 9:00 AM – 3:00
PM. This class is for youth ages 11-15 who want to become a Red Cross
Certified Babysitter.
The Babysitter’s training course will teach you
everything you need to be a great Babysitter. You will learn first aid and
safety skills so you can prevent and respond to emergencies. You will also
learn basic routine skills like diapering, feeding and dressing, preparing
simple meals and snacks, and handling bed time issues.
The fee for the course is $30.00 payable which must be
paid prior to the class. This includes all materials. This class is limited
in size so register early. The deadline for registration is September 19th,
2007. The class will be at the Firemen’s training Center on Granite station
Road.

Additional Training Options
Classes can be held at your location at a time and date
to suit your needs with a minimum enrollment of six participants. Or,
become an Authorized Provider and have a staff member trained as a Red Cross
