The American Red Cross has been the leader in health and safety training for more than 90 years.  Our recently revised First Aid/CPR/AED training program incorporates ECC Guidelines 2005 and helps you to meet OSHA requirements.

Now, training your employees is easier than ever. The Adams County Red Cross is happy to announce monthly open enrollment classes to be held at the Adams County Emergency Management office located at 230 Greenamyer Lane in Gettysburg.  With the combination of convenient location, the flexibility to train one or more employees and reasonable cost there has never been a better time to enroll your employees in one of the following courses:

BABYSITTING CLASS
Sept. 29, 2007

The Adams County American Red Cross will be conducting a babysitting class on September 29th, 2007 from 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM. This class is for youth ages 11-15 who want to become a Red Cross Certified Babysitter.

The Babysitter’s training course will teach you everything you need to be a great Babysitter. You will learn first aid and safety skills so you can prevent and respond to emergencies. You will also learn basic routine skills like diapering, feeding and dressing, preparing simple meals and snacks, and handling bed time issues.

The fee for the course is $30.00 payable which must be paid prior to the class. This includes all materials. This class is limited in size so register early. The deadline for registration is September 19th, 2007. The class will be at the Firemen’s training Center on Granite station Road.

To register for the class or further information, please call the American Red Cross of Adams County at 717-334-1814.

 Additional Training Options
